Two Timeless Truths about Doers of Iniquity

“He who sows iniquity will reap sorrow (“trouble”, f.n.), and the rod of his anger will fail” (Proverbs 22:8).

Truth # 1: You will reap what you sow. The evil of the sinful deeds you sow will guarantee a bountiful harvest of personal sorrow/trouble. God is neither deceived nor mocked (Gal. 6:7-8). The deceitful lie Satan tells to convince you that you will be the exception to God’s universal and timeless law of sowing and reaping is untrue. It always has been false and always will be.

Truth # 2: Your unrighteous anger is no match for God’s righteous wrath. Many a worker of iniquity has bullied others into acquiescing to him out of fear of his anger. Bullying others is a sin. Its effectiveness is short lived in comparison to the certain vengeance of the righteous God who has prepared a place of eternal punishment for the devil, his angels, and all of the doers of iniquity.

Every doer of iniquity needs to repent because of these two timeless truths.
