“Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! ‘For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has become His counselor?’ ‘Or who has first given to Him, and it shall be repaid to him?’ For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen” (Romans 11:33-36).
God’s worthiness and praiseworthiness never diminish.
- The gospel—conceived, designed, and engineered by Jehovah—demonstrates this.
- The creation which He holds in the palm of His hand trumpets this.
- God’s relationship to all things buttresses this: Jehovah is the source of all things. Jehovah is the agent of all things. Jehovah is the goal of all things.
Therefore, His worthiness and praiseworthiness are from everlasting to everlasting. He is to be praised exuberantly for the gospel, and obedience to the gospel ought to be rendered eagerly and unreservedly.
Praise God to whom be glory forever and ever, and present your body a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to Him—it is your reasonable service to our worthy and praiseworthy God.
