Regardless of which time zone you live in, this question has the same resounding answers for every Christian:
It is time to Wake Up! “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now, our salvation is nearer than when we first believed” (Romans 13:11).
All spiritual lethargy immediately needs to become a thing of the past.
It is time to Dress Up! “The night is far spent; the day is at hand. Therefore, let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light” (Romans 13:12).
All spiritual sleepwear needs to be discarded and every piece of battle attire needs to be strapped on permanently.
It is time to Line Up! “Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts” (Romans 13:13-14).
Spiritual warfare has been raging on earth since the Garden of Eden. Not one of the principalities, powers, or rulers of darkness has signed an armistice with God. The captain of our salvation has given no orders to let your guard down. Fraternizing with the enemy instead of engaging in hand-to-hand combat will not lead you to victory in Jesus.
