He (Not She) Says

“Therefore He says: ‘Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light’” (Ephesians 5:14).

Political correctness aided and abetted by radical feminism ever seeks to neuter or transgender Jehovah. Though the male pronoun is not specifically used in the text above, the translators are Biblically accurate when they translated the implied divine pronoun as “He”. Because of the authority over all things inherent in God’s nature coupled with the fact that the authority in the home (Ephesians 5:23) and church (1 Timothy 2:8, 11-12) has divinely assigned to males, the Bible always refers to God with masculine pronouns from its beginning (cf. Genesis 1:5’s “He called”) to its end (cf. Revelation 22:4’s “His face…His name”).

This hierarchy of authority does not make a woman inferior in nature or worth to a man any more than it makes Christ less deity than His Father (cf. 1 Corinthians 11:3). Both males and females are made in Jehovah’s image (Genesis 1:27). Both receive equal spiritual blessings in Christ (Galatians 3:27-29; Hebrews 12:23). Men and women are co-heirs of God’s inheritance (1 Peter 3:7). Yet—just like the members of the Godhead—each of humanity’s two (and there are only two) sexes has a distinct and vital role in the function and well-being of society.

When the home and the church—society’s two most vital building blocks—function in harmony with God’s original design and timeless intentions for both men and women, a country is acting wisely. When these two divine institutions are sabotaged with identity and role confusion, a nation ensnared in such foolishness will falter and ultimately disappear in oblivion.
