“The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish pulls it down with her hands” (Proverbs 14:1).
A woman is the heart of her home. She exerts an immense influence on the emotional and spiritual well-being of her husband and children. Belittling and berating her mate, demoralizing and traumatizing her offspring inflict deep wounds and leave grotesque scars.
A wise woman, therefore, is ever mindful of her innate and potent influence for good and evil and behaves herself prudently. A foolish woman chooses to make herself her family’s worst enemy.
Some homes are destroyed by a vicious attack of outside forces. More families, however, are ruined by the self-destructive behavior of the man and woman living at the address they call home.
Being wise or foolish matters.
