“but exhort one another daily, while it is called ‘Today,’ lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin” (Hebrews 3:13).
Satan is a liar (John 8:44). He is the master of disguises (2 Corinthians 11:13). He is the father of all deception.
There are few things he lies more about and has more disguises for than sin.
“No one will get hurt.” “It’s no big deal.” “No one will find out.” “You can quit at any time.” “We’re just trying to have a little ‘fun’.”
Sin is spiritual cholesterol. It hardens your heart and culminates in catastrophic consequences. It is the sure path to eternal condemnation.
Sin will take you farther than you wanted to go, keep you longer than you wanted to stay, and cost you more than you wanted to pay.
Don’t be fooled by the deceitfulness of sin.
