“But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect…Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not!” (Romans 9:6, 14).
There are two primary reasons for Jehovah’s deliverance of the nation of Israel from Egyptian slavery: 1) It kept His word; and 2) It was the righteous thing to do.
To Abraham God gave His word: “Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years. And also the nation whom they serve I will judge; afterward they shall come out with great possessions” (Genesis 15:13-14). “Now it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob” (Exodus 2:23-24). Therefore, Israel’s deliverance was the right thing to do.
Redemption from Egyptian bondage occurred because God stands by His word and because there is no unrighteousness with Him.
These same two reasons are why Jehovah sent the Messiah to deliver all humanity from spiritual bondage:

Jehovah had to keep the seed promises He made to Eve, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah, and David. He had to make good on His promise of a virgin’s conception and the subsequent birth of Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14). His promise of a new covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-34) could not be delayed indefinitely. The promises He made through Hosea—“I will call them My people, who were not My people and her beloved, who was not beloved.” And “it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ There they shall be called sons of the living God” (Hosea 2:23, 1:10; Romans 9:25-26) and Isaiah—“Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, the remnant will be saved. For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth…Unless the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we would have become like Sodom, and we would have been made like Gomorrah” (Isaiah 10:22-23; Romans 9:27-29) had to be kept. They had to be fulfilled for His word to take effect.

Jehovah had to do the right thing. He could not pass over the Jews’ sins (Romans 3:25) forever, nor could He endlessly overlook the Gentiles abject spiritual ignorance (Acts 17:30). A genuine propitiation for the sins of the whole world by the atoning blood of His Lamb had to occur. And, it did. Thus, demonstrating His righteousness (Romans 3:25-26).
God’s integrity with His word and pristine righteousness are the reasons why He raised up Pharaoh and brought about Israel’s deliverance from Egypt. God’s integrity with His word and pristine righteousness are also the reasons why the gospel of Christ rightfully determines who is God’s chosen people today.
You cannot rationally embrace God’s deliverance via Moses brought without also embracing His deliverance via Jesus.
They stand or fall together.
