One God
“Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith” (Romans 3:29-30).
About two thousand years before the coming of Christ and His gospel, Jehovah introduced circumcision as a sign of His covenant with Abraham and his descendants (Genesis 17). Beginning at that point in history, the human population was differentiated as Jews (i.e., circumcised) and Gentiles (i.e., uncircumcised).
Two thousand years is a very long time. Clearly it was long enough for Abraham’s descendants to lose sight of the truth that Jehovah is God of all humanity. He is not the God of the Jews only; He is also God of the Gentiles.
There is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4), and sin is one spiritual malady common to all humanity. Therefore, God provided one Redeemer with one gospel to save all sinners.
The circumcised Jew is saved by his faith in the one faith. The uncircumcised Gentile is saved by his faith in the one faith.
Just as every human on earth has the same laws of nature which govern him, every human on earth has the same law of faith which he must trust and obey.
