“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all” (Ephesians 4:4-6).
Everything—every doctrine, every reproof, every correction, every instruction in righteousness—needed for spiritual victory has been revealed in the one faith (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
The one faith is the one Lord’s authoritative rule of law. The one faith communicates the calling of the one Lord and the one hope the one body has. The one faith is the finished product of the one Spirit’s revelation and inspiration. The one faith concisely and clearly describes the one baptism which saves penitent believers (Acts 2:36-38). The one faith contains all we need to know about the one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. The one faith provides us with all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).
It is our responsibility to live by obedient faith in the one faith (Acts 6:7).
