The marvels of God’s creative genius are on panoramic display in nature. The heavens above, the earth beneath, the oceans around the globe, and the creation that fills our biosphere are resplendent with God’s manifold glory and wisdom.
“The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; by understanding He established the heavens; by His knowledge the depths were broken up and clouds drop down the dew” (Proverbs 3:19-20).
The stars in their constellations, the planets in their galaxies, the water cycle in its continuous recycling of earth’s most unique and essential compound, the waxing and waning moon with its omnipotent control over ocean tides, and a multitude of other wonders ever found and functioning in our created universe send forth a wondrous anthem of resounding praise to God and His coworker, wisdom.
What a glorious body of advisory work is found in wisdom’s portfolio. Who would not want such a brilliant architect’s help in constructing a purposeful and genuinely successful life? Who would not want the counsel of such a talented and shrewd consultant for aid in displaying the glory of God in his own life?
God’s coworker in creation—wisdom—offers her counsel freely and generously to all. Only a fool would refuse such a wondrous offer.
